A commuter account is a savings account used to pay for things related to your commute to work. You decide how much to contribute and the money you save is tax-free. Eligible modes include bus, subway, vanpool, rideshare and ferries — and you can also use it for parking at work or as part of your commute. Any changes made by the 15th of each month are effective the following month.
You have two ways to use your account: a debit card for eligible expenses, or submitting for reimbursement through HSA Bank.
No — any unused money rolls over into the next calendar year, as long as you’re employed with Caliber.
You can contribute up to $340 a month in 2026. The IRS reviews and sets a new limit each year.
You can enroll anytime by visiting HSA Bank.
