In an emergency

If you’re having a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately, especially if you feel you might harm yourself or someone else.

You can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for 24/7 confidential support, or text HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line.

Everyday support

Our Employee Assistance Program, SupportLinc, offers support for emotional, financial, legal and everyday challenges through confidential counseling, practical resources and expert guidance.

Community resources

If you’re experiencing food insecurity, or need things like housing, clothing, transportation or other life essentials, findhelp.org can connect you with local resources.

Support is always available

When you’re facing a crisis, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed — but you don’t have to go through it alone. From emotional support and financial assistance to health and community resources, help is available to you through difficult times.

Use

If you or someone in your family is facing a crisis, we’re here with tools, services and support to help you feel safe and cared for.

  • To connect to local services including housing, food, mental health and financial help, call 211.
  • Veterans and their families have access to the Veterans Crisis Line by calling 988, then press 1 or text 838255.
  • For help related to disasters and major events, the Disaster Distress Helpline is available at 1-800-985-5990.
  • If you’re diagnosed with a major health condition, all of Caliber’s medical plans offer free access to a healthcare concierge service.

The Caliber Foundation may be able to provide financial assistance and support when you’re facing an unexpected hardship, such as a natural disaster, medical emergency, family crisis or other qualifying event. Contact the Caliber Foundation assistance to see if you’re eligible.

Support

Whether you’re dealing with a medical issue, mental health concern, financial hardship, family challenge or another unexpected crisis, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through SupportLinc offers free and confidential support, resources and referrals to help find the assistance you need.

Your household members (like your spouse/domestic partnerDomestic PartnerYour domestic partner is someone you have a committed, intimate relationship with, shares your primary residence, and is at least 18 years old. — or anyone living with you) — and children (up to age 26, whether they live with you or not) can also use it. SupportLinc is free and confidential.

Take time

A crisis can take an emotional or physical toll. Caliber gives you the flexibility to step back when you need to with time away options, including vacation time, sick time and disability.
