Short-term disability is company-paid benefit for all teammates with 12 months of continuous service that pays 40% of your salary (up to $600/week) for up to 26 weeks if you’re unable to work because of a non-work-related injury or illness for more than 7 days.
You’re automatically enrolled; you can decline as a new hire, during Open Enrollment or with a qualifying life event.
Voluntary short-term disability is an optional benefit that pays 60% of your salary (up to $2,000/week) for up to 26 weeks if you’re unable to work because of a non-work-related injury or illness for more than 7 days.
Newly hired benefits-eligible teammates (excluding California) are automatically enrolled and may decline within the first 30 days. If you enroll, the cost is deducted from your weekly pay unless you opt out.
Long-term disability is optional benefit that pays up to 60% of your salary if you’re unable to work after short-term disability runs out (maximums vary).
This coverage is optional — you can enroll as a new hire, during Open Enrollment or with a qualifying life event.
Cost is based on your salary and will be displayed during enrollment.
If you have a significant illness or injury, or if you’re a birthing parent, your treating doctor will work with you and our disability providerProviderAnyone who provides health care, including doctors, nurses, hospitals, lab facilities, clinics and urgent care centers. to approve or deny coverage. Documentation is submitted through Alight, who will also coordinate your leave of absence, including starting a leave, during a leave and steps to take before you return to work.
