Getting divorced or ending a domestic partnership is considered a qualifying life event — which means you have 30 days to enroll in or update your benefits.
You’ll need documentation to enroll in or update your benefits through the Benefits Enrollment Center — like a divorce decree or Affidavit of Termination.
If you don’t remove your former spouse or domestic partnerDomestic PartnerYour domestic partner is someone you have a committed, intimate relationship with, shares your primary residence, and is at least 18 years old. from your Caliber coverage within 30 days of the finalization date, you’ll be required to continue to pay for their coverage. Even if coverage is removed retroactively, you won’t get a refund.

You may need to update your personal information, like your mailing address or emergency contact, in Workday.
You can update your last name through Teammate Services by calling 1-877-ASK-CALI (1-877-275-2254) or submitting a HUB ticket.
Also, be sure to update your will or trust. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the legal plan (if you’re enrolled) offer access to legal consultations and document preparation.
You may also want to review your tax filing status and make any applicable changes to your W-4 in Workday.
